TBone, prayers going out that the pain will subside and leave you the heck alone!

My mom had some pretty serious pain from her pancreas met back in November. Once the chemo knocked the met silly, she felt much better. So maybe, if the pain is indeed caused by mets, the chemo and radiation will shut it off.

TBone and family--

Grrrrrrrrrr.

I am so sorry to hear of your dx (not that I understand it well)--and can "hear" through your words how much your pain is affecting you. That's really getting to me.

TeeTaa and ViVi--Thanks for updating us. Please let both TBone AND Mrs. TBone know that our thoughts are with them (it must be so hard for her to see him going through this).

Just wanted to see if T-Bone is seeing a pain management doctor in addition to his oncologist? Originally, Keith's oncologist prescribed his meds, but it was to the point that he was taking so much oxycodone and oxycotin that he was on cloud 9 all the time. It was almost obscene the amount of drugs he needed to take. However, he started to see a pain management specialist in addition to his onc, who changed his dose and added a few new drugs.

Keith is taking Nuerotin as well, but it doesn't do much for pain alone. However, when he takes it with methadone, it really releaves the pain and still leaves him coherent and active. Just a thought.
