john
The article is about how cancer keeps coming back, because the source of the cancer is not killed. The theory is that the source of cancer is a mutated stem cell. Since stem cells do not divide at a high rate they are not killed by chemo/radiation, and thus they regrow. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/ar ... Melinda
John-- Great to see your post!!! I noticed last night that you'd been MIA for a couple of weeks and was hoping that you were enjoying a WONDERFUL vacation somewhere. Is there any way that you could cut and paste this article for some of us--I can never seem to get into the Washongton Post web site--even after I register, etc. It looks like a "must-read". Thanks--and it's GREAT to see your name popping up on the board again. I felt a little lost without knowing your expertise was simply a PM away. Elaine
It is a good article. You shouldn't have trouble-registering is fairly simple and they don't make you answer a bunch of stuff or sign up for anything you don't want' elaine
