Grateful the primaries are over here--no more phone calls all night for awhile!
Feeling a little blue today, so glad I have a place to come to when I'm down.
Grateful for Jackie's good news!

So great to see you again! I also think the card sounds just fine. That is a really neat idea! If you are going to spend the $$$, glad it went to a good cause.

Grateful that many of our teachers were back today--if not the students. With both Strep and Influenza B running through the school, we were missing about 1/3 of the kids this week. Hopefully all will be OK soon.
VERY grateful to be one of the lucky ones who hasn't gotten sick yet!

The way you describe it, I wish I could have been there! I know your mom was smiling down.
I was able to stay very busy for the first few months as well. It helps, but it doesn't erase the grief. I hope the next few weeks are kind to you.

SO GRATEFUL the DH is back at work today...being employed again is thumbs up!
Grateful for our bizzare warm day as well (77* in Feb?). The kids enjoyed their recess for once...though it may snow here tomorrow. Very weird.

Maybe a bit like a comet--afraid I will burn out quickly, but enjoying the rde right now. I'm on a 'high' from watching the kids in the Talent Show, and being in a work environment that covered for me so I could sneak out and go. For now, I'll take it!

SO grateful for being able to sneak out early and see my kids in the Talent Show today!!! They were really good (if I do say so myself ), and it was so fun watching their friends yell for them and support them.
Looking forward to a fun weekend as the snow begins to melt.

I love both of those!

Grateful for our dusting of snow and ice that has completely shut down OK. Ten winters in MN give me the right to laugh at the hysteria. So grateful that it cancelled all our activities for tonight--a night off, for once!

Grateful to be back in town, and back on track. Eternally grateful for a fun weekend with my daughter, and some silly yet important bonding time.
Grateful Katie appears to be on the mend, as well.

HEY, JUDE!
(How am I the first person to type that...or do you all just have more self-control than me?)
So very excited for you and for the whole family. What an amazing blessing. Pictures soon, please!

I am leaving for a few days...Arkansas-bound for my daughter's volleyball tournament! I'll be without a computer (gasp!) but back by Monday. The roads are supposed to be slick, so pray for safe travels!
Jackie, I promise to be grateful everyday. I'll tell you all about it when I get home.

I'm constantly trying to remind myself that cancer was not the only thing that defined my mom--hardly. I'm trying to break out of the last couple of years...particularly the last few months of those years...and remember everything else she was about.
It's good to revisit strong and healthy times. I think it is healthy for us as well!
