There is an over-the-counter herbal remedy called "Airborne". I promise you that it will help and if you take at the first sign of a cold it usually knocks it out for me. It was developed by a kindergarten teacher because she kept getting sick from the little ones that she was teaching. A friend of mine saw it on Oprah and recommeded it to me. If you decide to use it let me know how it works for you. You can get it at just about any pharmacy.
Could you wear a mask to visit and make sure you wash your hands?

I got dry skin and rash from Tarceva. Aquaphor (Eucerin) helped me and taking baths with Aveeno.

Hey Chris,
I have been taking Tarceva since May of this year. So far, I have had minor side effects in comparison to chemo. If I can help in any way let me know.

Hey,
Just wanted to let you know that I have also been having lower back pain. Could be Tarceva-could be cold weather. It seems to come and go but is most painful in the morning.
