    How long after chemo?

    Darci,

    After I finally finished treatment, it took a couple of months to get back to my old self. The good news is that I feel better now that I did before I was diagnosed. I do suffer from some symptoms associated with the chemo and radiation. They are minor compared to SOB,fatigue and everything else associated with this disease.

    I am so sorry that your family is having to go through so much right now. I have a poem that I have found recently that gives me strength when I need it.

    I can't believe it.

    I am a little upset. I have been trying to get donations for this Lung Cancer Fundraiser that I am hosting. Today is my first day. I sent out some e-mails to different businesses and radio stations for publicity. I just had one reply with a note stating that my e-mail was deleted. How rude!! Obviously, this is going to be harder that I thought.

    I am open for advice.

    I found this poem and thought it was beautiful. I wanted to share it with you.

    ONE MINUTE LEFT

    If I were sure I had

    One final day on earth,

    I'd spend it telling friends

    How much to me they're worth.

    If I had half a day,

    Feelings of love concealed

    For those closest to me,

    I would boldly reveal.

    My family would come first

    If I had just one hour.

    Thoughts heretofore unspoken

    Would blossom like a flower.
