    My mom has that exact same thing on her forehead, not the brain and not the skull itself, just under the surface of the skin, its a bump a large bump, but the radiation they have been using is Shrinking it!! So if they can radiate it that might be good. My mom has no pain with hers though. Or headaches nothing like that, and her Brain scan came back clear. My prayers are with you!

    My heart is aching for you! I can only pray to have your mom come to peace about chemo. Ipray she will really understand that it IS worth it. I pray the scan comes out clean, and that she has new will to fight. I pray for you too my dear. I pray for you to have the wisdom to tell her what she needs to know to get her will back to fight!

    I think you are doing the right thing. If Mike is willing and able to go to Tulsa, THEN GO!!!!! Do not let anyone stop you. You do what your heart tells you to do.

    Tara-welcome to the board. I hope this board can offer help and comfort for you.

    I'm so sorry about your uncle. I will pray he can pull out of the depression. Like Dave said there is medication for that, and he should really research it. It helps tremendously.

    Must be the week for clean Brain Scans

    My moms scan on her brain came out clear too. She starts radiation on the lump on her forehead and shoulder tomorrow. THANK GOD!! :D:D

    We've waited so long for this becasue Dr. Ta said that since its on the surface Radiation will either get rid of it, or shrink it considerably, and then the shoulder will have NO MORE PAIN!!!! PRAISE GOD!! :D:D:P

    Wow...now I think I understand, and Now I will DO MY BEST to back off. I was over cleaning her house last night, and grilled her about everything, but when I go over tonight to shop...guess what....I am going not to ask anything, and she even has a Dr. appt. this morning, and I will wait for them to tell me anything. (THAT WILL BE HARD)!!!!111

    Heres to you ( I am raising my glass now...CLINK) :lol: That is wonderful news! You deserve the break so maybe thats why God made your whites a little low this time. Don't worry, they'll keep shrinking!! That is absolutely wonderul, celebrate, go play 18 and stop at the 19th for a celebration of course with apple juice or something!! You deserve the good news my friend. :D

    I know all about that too!! I ask my mom how she is, and if she says pretty good, I ask so whats off that only makes you pretty good. Whydidn't I get a Good? As Ada was saying she says she doesn't always want to talk or be surrounded by CANCER, she wants somewhat a normal resemblence of LBC. You are such a wonderful daughter. Just let mom have an off day, it might be emotions are off, or maybe she is just cranky? I hope this helps..You hang in there girl, we'll get our moms better!!!!
