  1. Glad you checked in with us, Ray. Take all the anti nausea meds they give you, my father does that, he never has a problem with nausea. He's just tired, so he sleeps! Do the same, listen to your body. You've begun the fight!!!

  2. Hello Friends,

I had to share with you that my father's bone scan was CLEAN!!! It was worth the trip down even though he could not have chemo due to low platelets. Oncologist told him that was okay too, it means chemo is doing what it should be doing. I am so relieved and thankful tonight that the bone scan was clean!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you, each of you, so, very, much for all the prayers you sent up for him. It is those prayers along with my family and friends here in NY that made this happen.

This is my first post here in GOOD NEWS since this began!!

  3. What a beautiful picture, Rosanne. (My mother's name is Rosanne, and she always thought she was the only one who spelled it this way - without the e in Rose). Anyway, thats great everything went so well and Gianni got to visit with his sister. Its good to have happy occasions to celebrate. Just know you and Gianni are prayed for every night.

  4. Im not posting this to shake anyones faith but I have to put it out there. Right after my father's stem cell transplant for lymphoma, 4months later, a nodule appeared on his CT scan. They decided to wait. It grew a little in June so they did a PET. It was negative. It didnt grow again till January and then again in March. In April his PET showed it was indeed cancer and had gone to a node. I never knew about these levels Ive just read about in these posts so I cant comment on that, but I had to share his story.

  5. My father thinks he holds the title of being different when it comes to cancer, because he's already had two bouts of lymphoma and then then two years later has lung cancer. Thats great you were so comfortable with the oncologist that discussed this with you.

  6. I almost posted yesterday to find out how you were doing. It sounds like you have the right attitude and youve been given such good advice above. Things change with cancer every day, we all know that. Just had to let you know youve been in my thoughts and prayers.

  7. Hello Cheryl and Jack,

I, too, was flattered and honored to find my name in your posts. I didnt realize you were so young, Cheryl, youre only a few years older than me, Im 38. You know Im praying for everyone on this board nightly.

I wanted to know what 3A-B means? My father has one lung tumor on upper right lobe and one mediastinal node. He is 3A. Why would someone be 3AB?

Sorry we have to meet like this, but it is nice to meet you both.

  8. How wonderful to find all these prayers going up for that wonderful father of mine tonight!!! Im thinking we're not going to find out till Friday when he goes for chemo, but it just gives us more time to storm heaven with prayers!! Thank you Connie for the hug along with the prayers, yes, I need a lot of those at different times during the day when something hits me!! Thank you also, Don, Natalie (yes, prayers for your mom tonight, definitely!!), Carleen, hopeful2 and again to Katie!! You are such a great bunch of people.
