  1. Erin,

I'm so very sorry to hear about your mother. Despite her hard life, it sounds like you did everything you could to make it better and you suceeded. You were a wonderful daughter to her. Please remember that.

My sincere condolences on your loss.

  2. Berisa --

I understand the happy/little bit of sad feelings you are having. When my sister got married a few years ago, I cried out of happiness that she was marrying the man she so much loved; yet, it was bittersweet as I cried cause my Mom wasn't there to share in this event. That was the only real moment of "bitersweetness" cause it has been such a wonderful marriage just as it is absolutely fabulous that you will be an auntie and your sister will be a mom. I like to think my mom was at the wedding in her own way just as your dad will see that grandchild in his own way.

    Hope this makes sense!

  3. Fay,

Just want to reiterate that I've so admired you and "loved" you. Your incredible fighting spirit and caring have so inspired many of us on the board to the point that we are in awe of you. I've never failed to read any of your posts. They're always full of so much wisdom, strength and love

Hospice had better meet all of your needs, Fay. They should be privileged to serve you. You ask about having that dog of yours visit. They just can't turn you down.

Will continue to say prayers for you today and always.

  4. I'm a weekly shopper and try hard not to have to run in the store during the week for other items. I hate shopping. I usually cook 2 or 3 meals a week, my hubby cooks 2 meals and we scrounge or have left-overs for the other meals. No guilt now that the kids aren't usually home.
