Hi Tom,
We all understand the roller coaster of emotions you are experiencing. Glad that you found this site and know you will benefit from the good advice, knowledge, and love that abides here. Welcome.

Get up on the rear wheels of that wheelie walker and make them give you some satisfaction! The "not knowing" is one of the most debilitating aspects of the crappola. Sending hugs and love.

Don, my fellow Washingtonian!
Sad news that the nodule grew. The cyberknife thing sounds encouraging and I would be interested in more information. Where do they do this in Seattle? Hang in there and continue to be proactive. Blessings & prayers winging away.

Way to go Grams! A new "pumpkin" for October! Great news!

What a coincidence! I was just talking to my friend, Mary Ann, who is prone to allergies and has several spider plants in her house. She offered to give me some starts, but we forgot them...must follow up.

Go visit our daughter in St. Louis.
If you were to go back to school, what would you study?

Special occasions are some of the toughest to get through in your grief. Blessings to you and prayers for Karen.

Excellent advice from dadstimeon, as usual. Your grieving process is yours, alone, to work through as you see fit, but a change of profession and bosses may be helpful on many fronts. Take care.

Bob and family-
I admired Fay greatly. She was her own best lung cancer advocate, and, consequently, also ours. Her knowledge and courage inspired many of us, and she will be immeasurably missed. May your memories and love sustain you during this difficult time. I'm so sorry and deflated by the news. Blessings.

Anxious to hear your news after your appointments. Unfortunately, the scans aren't infallible. Let us know "soonest". Thinking of you and sympathizing with your anxiety. Not knowing is one of the hardest parts, I think.

Sending positive vibes to help support you in your second go-round. Keep your chin up and continue to lead with your positive attitude.

A tough situation. It sounds as if you two are still seeking the light. I'll be praying that something works out for you and that you get to see important people in your lives, whether you go there or they come to you. Hang on.

Fingers and toes all crossed for the best possible outcomes. Sending best thougts your way.

Latest scan showed no changes, so we celebrated 4 years of post-op living by having friends over for a drink followed by dining out and attending a folklife concert. Life is good!
