  1. Thank you, Tina, for posting this.

    Dear Peggy-

My heart is squeezing in my chest thinking of how you are doing. There are so many parallels between your Don and my Bruce, and I can't imagine how you are surviving. You and Mike are in my best thoughts and prayers...words are inadequate.

  2. Offering condolences on the passing of your father.

Your advice about getting a second (or third) opinion was invaluable. Our hindsight is so much clearer when we become more experienced and knowledgeable! I myself was in a total fog for the first 4 months...which can be too late. You did the best that you could under the circumstances, so be kind to yourself, but thank you for thinking of others and giving them good advice.

  3. Rich-

Glad you are feeling well and that the migraines continue to abate. I understand your ambivalence about the scans...they have a Good Guy/Bad Guy reputation, but I guess I'm going to align myself with Debi and Snow because it is relatively early days for you. Maybe you should try for more "climaxes" at this stage  . (Just trying to put a humorous spin on my opinion  ).

Keep on keepin' on, in any case :D

  4. Peggy-

Words seem futile, but my heart breaks for you and Mike in the loss of your beloved husband and father. I know you have a strong faith and pray that it sees you through these dark days. Hugs and love...

  5. Fay-

Like you, I don't have grandchildren, but am honored and delighted to be the "Great" Auntie to many

Loved your "affirmation of the cycle of life" comment. So glad that the triplets are doing OK on their own.

Keeping you close to my heart.

  6. Carol-

A very nice post giving credit to medical staff---nice to hear some positives for those folks, thanks.

So glad that you are home and that your healing seems to be going well and that you are making plans. Keep it up and keep us posted.

  7. Beth-

Thinking of you and hoping that you can spy a ray of sunshine and hang on to it. Take your time; it's OK to feel rotten about this blasted disease sometimes. Glad you can let it out on this board.

  8. Addie-

I love your positive posts and outlook in the face of all the crap this disease has dealt you. You continue to rise up to each challenge for yourself as well as find time and energy to support others with your commonsense advice and wicked sense of humor. Thanks for being you.

  9. Fay-

Ugh!!! a thousand times over!!!!!

You have already said the RIGHT STUFF, and we all know that you have the RIGHT STUFF. We're all in your corner; let us know what's happening.

    Hugs and prayers.
