Welcome Doug, if we could use a good inspirational story, it is now. We lost a few of our members in the last couple of weeks and they have hit us hard. It is so good to hear that even though you have been through a lot, that you have beat this beast back. We need to hear more from you and your friends, please keep us updated and please give us your insight into this battle and we will also be of support and info to you. You are a definite ray of hope here.

Sorry you had to find us but for support and info glad you did. This is a good site to get answers when you can't find them anywhere else. Plus there is a great group of people here who understand were you are emotionaly and will give you the support when things are confusing.

MJ, I am sorry to hear that yor mother has to endure everything she is. You are right that this disease is a major stress on everyone it touches, the patient and caregivers and the entire families. I pray that what ever treatment the Drs. come up with works and causes as little side effects as possible.

I'm wondering what on earth made him decide to work with terminal patients if he doesn't have a clue what he's dealing with. Cat, I'm so sorry you had to end up with a Doctor who in my opion does not belong in the profession, please seek some other onc. You do not need this kind of unprofessional and cold hearted treatment. My prayers are with you for strength and comfort thru this whole mess.

Sounds like good news to me. I agree with you on a positive attitude and a determination to fight this thing with everything we can muster. Diet is important and strengthening the immune system is a must. The chemo probably has helped but also everything else is essential to the battle. Wage a good war and know that there is always hope. Prayer is also a very strong weapon against this beast and I pray for your continued success.

We are only found worthy by what Jesus has done for us, since we are incapable of satisfying all of God's requirements to be righteous. So by grace we are given as a gift His righteousness and because of that we can all stand before God. He no longer looks upon our own unrighteousness but upon the righteousness of Jesus. The great exchange. My faults for His perfection. What great good news.
