CharlieD Posted October 30, 2005 Share Posted October 30, 2005 Hi Mary, welcome, I did the Alimta thing last spring. I had a 30% reduction in the original tumor after the 4th treatment. Stable after the 6th. Side effects were the normal nausea, fatigue and SOB and it seemed to increase as time went on. The steroids, Decadron, did a pretty good job of controlling the side effects. The side effects varies with different people. Some people have very few and others have violent reactions. Hope it works for your husband.
