Ann
What excuse would you give to get out of going to a party given by someone you didn't really like?
ginnyde
Have to babysit a grandchild. Using that excuse tonight to get out of a moment of temporary insanity.
Ry
If I am lucky enough that it is soccer season I say that one of the girls has a game or something.
Ann
Like Ginny, I can now use the babysitting excuse. By the way, it works like a charm.
Larry
Easy for me!! I'd just say no thank you and be on my way .....
Liz13
Well, here's Liz being a pain in the a** again. Ladies, you don't need an excuse. Just tell them you won't be making it. Maybe they won't invite you next time!! Hugs, Liz
Kasey
Why is it always so simple for men???? Like Larry, Fred just says 'no' and moves on. I struggle every time. I have used the babysiting thing........and just saying I already have a previous engagement. Since everyone knows we have such wonderful neighbors, that is probably my favorite......having dinner with the neighbors. Aren't we all awful for doing this? Shelley (MLC)
I usually say I have out of town guests arriving...(of course there's always the worry that they'll tell me to bring them along)!
Welthy
I have a prior commitment. (But lately we can use Tony as an excuse that NOBODY questions! )
