babylove91297 Posted June 27, 2008 Share Posted June 27, 2008 Hi everybody, just thought I would let you all know that I went and saw my new radiation oncologist today and we are starting treatments on next Tuesday ( the 1st ). I have to have 6 weeks, a total of 33 treatments, I have 3 next week then once a day for 6 weeks. He did a ct scan and marked my skin where they are going to radiate, but they only marked by my lymph node, and not the primary spot on my lung, so I am going to ask him about that on Tuesday. Well, I made it through my first week back at work, and I am really tired, but I enjoyed being anywhere but home or doctors offices for a change. I will keep you all posted. SandraL Posted June 27, 2008 Share Posted June 27, 2008 Good luck with your radiation Bobbie. I had 30 sessions with 1st line treatment. I found it quite tolerable and wish you the same.
