coni
Hubby had his MRI and it showed a few brain mets. he has to start radiation now and finish Chemo afterwards, the doctor doesn't want to do both at same time said it would be too hard on him. I'm so scared and depressed.
Donna G
So sorry to hear about the brain mets but glad his doctors are on top of them. He's had quite a bit of chemo so it sounds like that is a good decision to put that on hold and take care of the new mets. Keep us posted. RandyW
its easy to be scared of ciourse, and I don't blame you. THe reason being radiation alone takes a lot out of a person and chemo also does same thing so they are done separate to make it easier on the body. There is a plan and it is being put in place asap and thats a good thing rather than wait and see approach. SandraL
Hi Coni. I am so sad to hear that. I have found that it takes awhile to bounce back from bad news...perfectly normal to be sad and depressed. So give yourself some time and I hope you will find yourselves in fighting spirits again soon. Take good care Sandra
shineladysue
Coni, I would just like to add my support too. As has already been said, it sounds like his doctors are on top of it. I will be keeping your husband and you in my prayers. In the meantime, lean on everyone here as much as you need to. Hugs, Sue
