Hi Friends, My Grandson Austin is standing here next to me and he would like to send off a nice Hello to you all. For those of you that don't know, my Grandson is hearing impaired and a few years back he had a Cochlear Implant put in. Now it's 4 years later and he's talking and can hear and is doing very well.

So, here's Austin: Hello to all of grandma friend's. l am Austin and l am 7-1\2 years

It is amazing what they can do today! I never thought I would hear him say Grandma, or anything else for that matter. We are just thrilled for him. Funny thought I just said to his sister last night that I don't know if him hearing is such a good thing, cause he never shuts up! LOL! She totally agreed and she's only 9. Austin will be here tomorrow and I told him my friends would answer his message, so he'll be back to check it out. I just want to say THANK YOU to ALL that have.

I'll say one thing for him, he doesn't miss a trick! Not much gets by him. LOL!
