shelliemacs
my dads surgeon has scheduled surgery for this monday. they need to put a chest tube in permanately (dont know how long perm. is) to keep the lung draining. while he is under they are going to do a few biops'y in different places on the lung. as of right now (2:01 pm Wednesday, NY time) we still have NOT heard from the pulm. dr. as to what the fluid drained contained. surgeon says "it doesn't look like cancer to me" pulm dr. says "looks like cancer to me" who do I lean towards? Rosie
surgeon says "it doesn't look like cancer to me" pulm dr. says "looks like cancer to me" who do I lean towards? God I've been in those situations as everyone here has. Maybe not exactly that, but those stinky waiting games. I am not great with a lot of patience anyway, but I try. Here I found it to be excrutiating. My prayers are with you that the waiting game will go quickly and it is a cancer free answer!
