DeanCarl
I'm actually beginning to LIKE it when the telephone rings ! I just got a call from the Social Security office. My SSDI has been aproved and will begin as soon as my SDI (state disability) runs out (it's a hundred dollars or so less than SDI so I'm gonna ride that pony for as long as I can ). I was able to do it all from the comfort of my own home. I will have to make two trips to the Social Security office. One either Friday or Monday to give them copies of my birth certificate and a couple of other things. Then I make one more trip when my state disability runs out to show them it's all done and then my SSDI kicks in. Not a bad week, all things considered. Guest Karen C
Dean - what my husband said - you go! I love to hear when Social Security does its job well. We were put through hell and back trying to get Faith's social security number, finally had to get the district supervisor involved. Karen C.
