bes
Well my husband had his second Keytruda treatment yesterday so far not too many reactions other than some itching, nausea and weight loss. He is scheduled for another treatment on March 6th and then a CT scan to see how things are going.
BridgetO
I'm glad to hear it's tolerable! Bridget O
Steff
Great news on the tolerable side effects, Bes! As far as itching skin, my mom began using Aveeno body wash and lotion. She also got a face cream because her face itched the most, but I don't know what kind, the sales associate from Walgreens suggested it. I also had her switch from her loofah and use a sponge in the hopes it would be less irritating. -just some thoughts I wanted to share. I hope things continue to be tolerable for him! Take Care, Steff
Tom Galli
Bes, Good report. Nausea is a pain but be careful of the weight loss. He'll need every calorie he can muster to repair damage caused by Keyturda. When my taste buds tanked during chemo, my wife introduced me to chocolate mint ice cream. I normally don't like a mint but during chemo I relished mint so I had ice cream three times a day. Stay the course. Tom
