Barb1260 Posted February 16, 2019 Posted February 16, 2019 Radiologist was surprised this week that I have not had any esophogus issues. Well, last night I had a weird feeling when I swallowed, today it’s worse. Feels like something is in my throat at the same spot as the radiation. No pain, just a swollen feeling. Is this just a side effect as I’m assuming?
Rower Michelle Posted February 25, 2019 Posted February 25, 2019 Hi Barb, Just back from a short trip- checking in to see how you are feeling. Looking at your post it seems logical that you are having some side effects from the radiation. I've been so happy to see your progress since starting out the process. Let us know how things are going! Michelle
Tom Galli Posted February 25, 2019 Posted February 25, 2019 Barb, Yes, side effect is likely cause to your symptom. Tell the radiation techs about your symptom. Stay the course. Tom
Barb1260 Posted February 25, 2019 Author Posted February 25, 2019 Thank you both. I had last radiation Friday and the PA reviewed all my minor nagging symptoms and confirmed they are all related and will get better in time. Took 5 weeks to get any side effects so I am grateful. The fatigue is even manageable at this point.
