Rose Kaiser
I had my first scan since my SBRT radiation on my lung tumor. I normally get a PET scan but this was a CAT scan with IV and oral contrast. My oncologist said a PET scan may show false positives since it's only been two months since I finished the radiation. The lung tumor decreased is size from 4.1 x 4.1 cm to 2.1 x 1.9 cm. from the radiation treatment. The bone mets showed no change from the last scan so the chemo is doing it's job. Overall I am pleased with the results but am so glad it's over. It is hard not to think the worst sometimes and it's such a relief when you get good results.
