norme Posted May 4, 2004 Posted May 4, 2004 My neighbor friend phoned me this morning. Her husband has been in the hospital for about one month, this time around, and it seems he is not going to make it. He had a heart transplant many moons ago down in Houston, I think he is one of the longest living people with this surgery. They are having a conference with hospice today. she wanted my input on the hospice subject. I explained how I felt being able to have Buddy with me here at home in the family room. Always at my side in a comfortable surrounding for both of us. She will probably do the same. I told her I will be there for her 24 hours a day if needed. Oh, my heart is so heavy right now knowing someone close is going to be going through this horrible thing called DEATH....WIDOWHOOD. Am asking for your prayers to help George cross over as peaceful as possible. Quote
J.C. Posted May 4, 2004 Posted May 4, 2004 Norme, Prayers going for George and all his family, specially for your friend. Not a nice road to face but with you there to help, she will be more at peace. Nothing better than taking care in the home when that is possible. I did as many more did and to me it is still a consolation that Mike left his own home for his next one. J.C. Quote
