Rosanne Posted May 23, 2004 Posted May 23, 2004 There was a discussion about how many doctors are insensitive to patients needs. I recently watched a movie on the movie channel. It's called The Doctor with William Hurt. I think all doctors should be required to watch this movie. The explanation of the movie says "An emotionally cold doctor learns a lesson in compassion." The ending is great. Rosanne Quote

gail Posted May 23, 2004 Posted May 23, 2004 I watched that movie after my first cancer 11 years ago. I found it very powerful and moving. I made sure I watched it again after the second because it said so much to me. gail Quote

Hebbie Posted May 24, 2004 Posted May 24, 2004 I caught that movie for the first time about 6 months after my diagnoses. I thought it was such a great movie and agree that every doctor should be required to view it! Quote
Guest bean_si (Not Active) Posted May 31, 2004 Posted May 31, 2004 I saw that movie ages ago & was impressed. It should be required viewing for every doctor. Quote
