Taxol or Taxotere failed you recently? ABT-751 Trial

There is a clinical trial in progress for those who have recently undergone treatment with Taxotere or Taxol and had disease progression. In order to qualify you must, among other things, be no longer than 24 weeks from your last Taxane treatment by the time you have gone through the screening, testing, and acceptance process.

It's a phase II trial. Other requirements are that we have no more than one investigational chemo (for me it is Iressa), no more than two conventional chemotherapies, one of which must be a Taxane (Carboplatin and Taxotere for me). There are other requirements, but the word out on this drug is that it has a great deal of potential for Taxane resistant malignancies. Oh...and it's a pill. Which is a big Waa Hoo for this hyperactive problem child.

I don't know if I'll make it through the screening process, but I'm going to give it a try.
