Hugh came to visit me at work today. Now, this might not seem like much but I work on the third floor. No elevator! He was out of breath when he got to my door, but then so am I every time I walk up here. I was shocked to see him. In January this guy couldn't even walk from one room to another in the house without sitting down and literally gasping for breath. Now here he is not only driving but dancing up 3 flights of stairs. Okay maybe he didn't dance up them but hey, even walking is great! :)

Well, tell Hugh to mark this one down and a GREAT DAY! Anytime anyone can do that is great...whether sick or not!!! I hope he soon will be running in a marathon or something.

Candy,

This is great news. The oncologist at IU Med Center told us just yesterday that those who get exercise get stronger and stronger and seem to respond to chemo even more. Tell him we are proud of him!

God bless you,

Peg

You just tell Hugh that he is the Stair Master! That is wonderful news, probably wouldn't mean a lot to most people but to you, Hugh and all of us that is like climbing Mount Everest! Continued success to him and all of us

Best
