babesdaughter
This was in one of the cards I received recently, it was very poignant for me: What Cancer Cannot Do Cancer is so limited........ It cannot cripple Love It cannot shatter Hope It cannot corrode Faith It cannot destroy Peace It cannot kill Friendship It cannot suppress Memories It cannot silence Courage It cannot invade the Soul It cannot steal Eternal Life It cannot conquer the Spirit It cannot lessen the power of the resurrection

Angie Daughter of Bill
Thanks for posting that. My sister in law is a hospice nurse. Right after Dad was diagnosed, she gave me a copy of that. I misplaced it and have been meaning to ask her for another copy. Much truth to be found in that short verse. Thanks again. Paige, how are YOU doing? In my thoughts and prayers~~~
babesdaughter
Paige, how are YOU doing? In my thoughts and prayers~~~ Sweet of you to ask, Angie. Good days and bad days and going half mad days...... Tears that come from no where, but also smiles that come from no where (well, I know where they come from ) We're starting to head in to the practicality of death and that's awkward....dealing with the estate, deciding what to do with "things"....tough work. I'll get through it, I've got an angel on my shoulder.
Angie Daughter of Bill
Paige..........I'm glad that you are only going "half mad". Seriously, I know it must be really hard. I can't imagine if I lose my Dad.........don't even want to think about it. Although, since he is developing many more symptoms in the last week or two, I have to admit, I have been thinking about it a lot. So, my dear, I am "half-mad" with you. I hope you get through all of the "business" junk and can start healing. Glad you have an angel with you. In my thoughts and prayers~~~ Angie
