Karen, it sounds like you and Faith had a wonderful trip and are enjoying some well deserved time together. I think it's a wonderful idea to invest in some matching "traveling shoes" for the two of you!!! You are such a great mother to be thinking of ways to enable you to spend every available minute with precious little Faith. You are right...taking care of a house takes a lot of time and effort. I'm sure the two of you would be very happy in a townhouse community. You could spend more time together and have a lot less home owner associated headaches. It's so good to hear from you. I can tell that you're fingers are typing in a much happier mood.

I think I'm with you on riding the mechanical bull. everytime I have tried a roller coaster, I end up sick afterwards! Dennis used to love roller coasters. He would be yelling "faster" while I sat there with my head tucked between my knees, praying for the thing to stop!!!

Larry...so glad to see you here AND in my email inbox!!! I'm so proud of your son and all the soldiers that are fighting their hearts out to keep us safe and sound!!! I can hear the pride and love you have for him in every letter you type!!!

I think you are doing a great job of thinking this thing through! I'm sure you will be absolutely beautiful with short hair. Also, your family and friends will have time to adapt to seeing you without long hair. This way, they will connect your short hair with just a cut rather than your treatments and illness. I know that one of the most dramatic thing about treatment, to many women, is seeing those "globs" of hair on their pillows in the morning. So...you're going to be a big step ahead of the game!!! You go girl!!!!

Helpless....what a strong word. That one word cannot be understood unless you have been where you are now. Unfortunately, too many of us on this board have become very familar with that word. Carleen, it's so alright to be angry!!! You have so very much to be angry about right now. I always seemed to feel better after I would release my anger. Maybe you remember my posts about getting in the car, cranking up the music and then screaming to the top of my lungs. Know what??? As silly as it sounds, it always seemed to help. I would emerge from that car with enough strength to get me through another day. Carleen...you are strong! You and Keith are fighters! Don't let this punch be the one that scores a knock out. Don...this is the kind of news I need to hear today! So happy that your bride is doing so well! I just love to hear a man refer to their wife as their bride, after many years together. In the case of you and Lucie, I'm sure you will always think of her as your bride. Oh....so envious to hear that you dined at Krystal for lunch! Krystal cheesburgers are my absolute favorite!!! All of them moved from our area and the closest one is in Titusville. Dick and I have been known to jump on the Harley and ride 45 minutes north to satisfy my Krystal hunger. I have to go there on Monday to pull a permit, so you can bet I will be having lunch at Krystal and I'm sure I will think of you and Lucie!!!
