  2. Hi Cheryncp123! Thank you for being such an incredible advocate. We can send LUNGevity materials via this website https://www.lungevity.org/about-us/request-materials. I've worked several of these types of events as LUNGevity's Marketing Manager and the co-coordinator of Breathe Deep Baltimore. We always try to come up with an activity to encourage people to come to the table, whether it's a trivia game, a prize wheel, a raffle, or a photo booth. We've used lung cancer facts from LUNGevity's website https://www.lungevity.org/about-lung-cancer/lung-cancer-statistics to come up with trivia questions. And we always have a sign up sheet if people want to volunteer for a local Breathe Deep event or if they want to be added to LUNGevity's email list to get Foundation updates and newsletters. Please feel free to contact me directly if you want to brainstorm or if you have any questions! My email is lhumphries@lungevity.org Regards, Lauren

  5. Hi there. I am sorry to hear that you and your fiance are going through a difficult time with his treatment. While I cannot speak in medical terms, as KatieB says in her post, your fiance's medical team should be able to help with some of the pain and discomfort. It sounds like your fiance is very lucky to have you as his partner and caregiver. This community is full of incredibly strong caregivers who have been on a similar path. I hope that you're able to make some very positive connections through these message boards. Please keep us posted! LUNGevity also has a discussion board and a Facebook group for Immunotherapy. Here are the links: http://forums.lungevity.org/index.php/forum/47-immunotherapy/ https://www.facebook.com/groups/493286720830007/ It may be easier to connect directly with others who are taking Opdivo on those pages. We are here for you!
