I would like to personally thank you for all the hard work you do here to keep us updated on all the new treatments, medications and clinical trials available.
My stepdad and I are trying to research the new options out there for my Mom to try next and because of all your hard work....I just come to this section of this wonderful website.

I'm so sorry to hear this, Lori.
Bad news is so difficult to digest....and can set us back until we can think it through. Stay positive and remind her that she is going to get through this.
Praying so hard that she can get a little good news to hold to today.

Not very good news at the doctor yesterday. My Mom had a PET and brain scan last week and had her appointment yesterday for the results.
The cancer is back. I'm so angry and frustrated right now.
She took the news like a champ and is DETERMINED to beat it but dang it....just hearing those words makes me want to scream.
So, the new game plan is continue the Avastin and add in the chemo that she was on before, Taxotere.
PS. On a good note, the brain scan was clean.
Continued prayers for all of you....

I'm praying the shot will get her blood count right where it needs to be and she'll be returning to the chemo next week.
