My son and I
I'm looking up
when I suddenly see
a picture of my Ryan and me.
What a joy to see this sight,
I will always hold it tight.
In my heart there is so much joy,
He is such a sweet little boy.
I love him so much, his smile, his sighs,
the funny way he bats his eyes.
I can't believe he's growing so tall,
He's bigger now than he was last fall.
I will cherish this picture as long as I can,
My son and I holding each other's hand.

Hey everyone!!!
Update: We had Ryan's party and he got his cuckoo clock(he loved it) and his dad built him a train table for his Thomas The Tank Engine Collection. He had so much fun and it was a day to remember. Alot of friends, hamburgers, hotdogs, cake, ice cream and animal balloons. I will have a picture soon. Just wanted to let you know.

Ryan and I sat and read all of the replies to this post. He really enjoyed looking at the pictures and everytime I told him someone said "Happy Birthday", he grinned really big. Thank ya'll so much. It really made his day.

I can't really answer your questions but I did want to let you know that I will be praying for you. A loss of a parent is devastating and takes along time for it to become real. Please know that you are not alone in your pain. This is an awesome place for support and encouragement.
You may want to contact a lawyer for advice.
