    Hi Goldy,

    I am also on Tarceva and have been for approximately three months. For a while I was taking mega doses of chlorella but developed some stomach issues and had to stop. My suggesstion is to talk to the oncologist about any supplements and see what they say. My onc said that Tarceva was not an oxidizing drug so it could be taken with almost anything.

    I am so sorry you are having to go through all of this alone. You really need to consider your health conditions first. If you are at risk of having another heart attack, I would definately back off and re-evaluate. As far as your hubby is concerned, I know he is going through a lot. I smoked up until a month before I was diagnosed. Needless to say, I knew I was sick and it scared me. You cannot make anyone do anything they don't want to do. If he wants to stop,he will when he is ready. Maybe, he should consider AA. It is a wonderful organization. Have you ever read the book, Codependant No More. It might help you understand the reason you keep going taking it. I hope this helps.

    Getting to Know You - October 10

    The worst date was prom night. The guy that I went with had a really fast corvette. Everything was going fine until we left the prom to go "riding around". Way down south in Mississippi you don't try to outrun the cops. He couldn't help it, he was trying to be cool. I couldn't help screaming, I was trying not to die. He did get arrested and I ended up having to drive the car to the county jail. You can imagine the look on the inmates faces when they saw me walk up in my prom dress. Anyway, the sheriff took me home.(Friend of my dad's) Needless to say, I never went out with him again and I think I may still be grounded (HAHA). I'm just glad to be here.
