GREENSBURG -- He says she was so stuck on him that she stuck him together. For that, a Pittsburgh man's ex-girlfriend should pay him more than $30,000 in damages, his attorney said. That's the case Kenneth Slaby's attorney presented to a Westmoreland County jury on Wednesday, the first day of Slaby's civil suit against Gail O'Toole of Murrysville. Slaby's lawsuit says that after dating for 10 months in 1999 they broke up and Slaby began dating another woman. When that relationship ended, O'Toole invited Slaby over to her home on May 7, 2000, where he fell asleep. He woke up to find that O'Toole had Super Glued his genitals to his abdomen, glued his behind together and spelled out a profanity on his back in nail polish. Slaby said O'Toole told him it was payback for their breakup, and he had to walk a mile to a gas station to call for help. He pressed charges and O'Toole pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault and served six months probation. O'Toole's attorney, Chuck Evans, said it was a consensual act, Slaby wasn't permanently damaged, and "This is a case that should have been left in the bedroom."

I participate on several message boards. Pre-cancer, I have to admit i had few worries and could surf the internet in a carefree manner. When I see a goofy pic or gif (little movie is what my sister calls them)I right click on it and copy the address. Then I click the button above "Img". Then i paste my goofy pic. Thanks everybunny for all the help...it is fungal. He went to the dr. and now feels better. but before he felt better...he had trembling in his right arm, pins and needles and numbness. All ---atleast that is how we've deduced it--related to the blood clot in his armpit an NOT related to the first fear we all had...the brain mets he had ten rounds of WBR.....oh the worries but tonight in the final eval we can say this is all ok. Anyway he is going to have his forst cat scan either FRi or Mon. That will give us all something to celebrate Thanksgiving. I'm placing bets on shrinkage. And not the George Costanza kind! My dad has a sore throat...drainage light cough. I have to tellhim to take tyenlol for pain...( I don;t konw why he has to be told to take something but God knows I take tylenol for every ache and pain LOL. Hre's on anitbiotic....but with LC everything worries me...is this or that a side effect. HE hasn't had rads to the chest but he has to the brain about 3 weeks ago. Any thoughts? Should I just wait and see. HE just got through with one hospital stay and I want to avoid another. His blood counts have been good enough for chemo....So I guess that would be one indicator of problem. It's not like I need to go looking for tihngs to worry about. I am excited though...I go see him next week for a week. The only sad thing is I can't take the hubs and kids. They'lll just have to have turkey without me. Hubs is a great cook so they won't starve. Resting easy after a long days fight. Fighting Cancer is not easy so a good night's rest is so important. T is Tarceva. So many are on it and i am glad for the positive results.

mY little boy ahd a tough time in the beginning. He's ten now and smartest kid in his class. At 2 lbs 2 oz who would have gambled on him? He was on a vent, had brain bleeds went septic. ver scary stuff! he pulled through and I am glad he is one of those long shots! Shane will do fine just like my baby Owen. Hugs to mom and dad. Give praise to god.

Just think, my dad worked in a petro chemical company. He took his ciggy breaks on top of bags of asbestos and under pipes of benzene and ethelene. God knows what else he was exposed when he worked for the US government during the Vietnam War. He quit smoking and drinking in 1985. To me, I hate cigarette smoking with a passion but I don;'t hate smoker as long as they are far away from me. i think smokers get a bad rep. I am basically live and let live. I've smoked for one summer during the 5th grade. I smoked pot on an off for 20 years from age 25 to age 41. There is a possibility I may get cancer. I worked for Exxon for 6 years and was expposed to chemicals in concentrations that are higher than what most have exposure to. Hell, if you think about it there is a chane that all of us could get it. My take is that one day they're going to find out how to save us and then the pharmecuetical companies will make us all pay out the nose. That is my opinion. take it or leave it. Eppie
