Hi Everyone.. I have not been on lately.. the holidays have been busy and I really haven't had much to say. Today I went my 7th funeral in 8 months. My Dad's cousin died last Sat. Its such a sad and terrible situation. He was an alcoholic and drug addicit. The drug part, no one really kjnew for sure how bad it was. His 17 yr old daughter found him in the bathroom on the floor with a needle stuck in his arm. So terrible. Well.. I need to get Russell to take a nap. Talk to you all soon Shelli

We also got a bit of snow overnight again..ughh, with more to come tomorrow. I have Anna cleaning the windows for me right now for our get together tomorrow evening. I still have a bunch to do, wrap the gifts, buy the food, and all of that. Luckly I have most of the day tomorrow to get things done! If I don't get a chance to check in, I hope you all have a great Christmas!!!

HI We are in the mist of Winter Storm Dawn... we got about 3 inches overnight and its falling hard now and it is also really windy, which makes it all the more crappy. Matt shoveld the steps in front of the house before he left and 20 minutes later you couldnt even tell! Well it looks like I am probably stuck in the house to day as the plows havent even gone by yet, and even if they do... I really wont be going anywhere as that usually plugs up the end of the driveway. People here in Oshkosh have been writting letters to the editor of the newspaper complaing about how fast the plows have been driving and that when they go that fast, they throw snow on to the already plowed/shoveled sidewalks. There has even been reports of snow/ice flying from the plows and breaking windows on houses.. Yikes!!... I do agree.. they kinda go by pretty fast! Well.. I guess I have no reason not to clean today, so that will be my plan. Have a good day everyone!

Good Morning all!! Another below zero morning for us here in N.E. Wisconsin. -22 to be exact. We are waiting on our next big winter storm to hit this evening... they name them here, kinda like hurricanes.. i think this one is called "Dale" lol. We are expected to get about 6-10 inches of snow. I happen to live right on that boarder of the 4-6 or 6-10 inches... its really never what they say. Nothing else going on... Tomorrow is the last day of school for the year for Anna (that is if it doesn't get canceled) 16 days off... Yikes... :0 ) Hope everyone has a good day

Hello! It is FRRRREEEEEZZZIIIINNNGGG here too! I am not sure of an actual temp, but I am pretty sure its below zero.. such messed up weather we are having. It was really cold on Friday, Sat and Sunday warm and almost up in the 50's and today, below zero.. ehh I just know that I hate winter! Went out to finish some shopping and that was enough for me. I am going to grab my blanket and watch some TV. Shelli

Hello, Just got home after our early Christmas with Matt's family. It was a good time, with lots of good food. Now I come back to a disaster of a house as I was in the mist of laundry and other things before we left on Friday and we have brought back more things with us. Ughh where to begin.. I am exhausted from the weekend, Russell never sleeps well at Grandmas. Oh well.... I guess I just need to pick a spot and start! Shelli

Hi all, I am in La Crosse again for the weekend, we are doing an early christmas with Matt's parents. Everyone else is at church, but Russell and I,.. he "needed" a nap, but that has not happened. Hello EVeryone!! I am back after almost a week without a computer! Stupid virus! It has been snowing here since yesterday at 3pm. We are expected to get 8-16 inches by the time "Winter Storm Carter" is finished. I currently have a wall of snow at the end of the driveway that is about 3 feet tall, so I am not going anywhere! I really, really need to get to the grocery store, but it will have to wait until tomorrow! Hope everyone is having a good Tuesday... and was there really no Mondays Air yesterday?

Hi.. I got the virus too, but my norton didnt catch it right away. I was able to shut the computer down and reboot and run norton, but then wasnt able to connect to the internet. One of my IT friends said that when Norton found the Trojan, it only removed the one part of the virus. It sometimes will disable your internet once you delete it from your computer. So my other computer savy friend took my computer for a few days and ran a bunch of scans and added a bunch of adware and spyware removers.. and all is good. Where I went wrong... and what I (and anyone else) should never do. If a link asks you to open a browser to view something, because you cant see it with the ones you already have... DONT DO IT!!! You should almost always be able to view things with whatever viewer you have on your computer. Chris, I too also had some programs that just showed up out of nowhere after the virus.

I love to read, but also have a few shows that I love to watch... I find a good balance between both.

Deb, I hope that you made it through alright and enjoyed some part of your birthday. I understand about the "firsts" Christmas for me has always been centered around my Dad. It will be tough, but we must get through, expecially for the kids. PM me anytime!! Shelli

Mine is really not too disastrous... The first time I decided to have thanksgiving I was pregnant, and my due date wasnt until after.. so I thought, I can do this, no problem... well I ended up having Anna on Monday but had bought everything for Thanksgiving, so decided to go ahead with it anyway... Thanks goodness my Dad was there, he took over the cooking cause I was soooo exausted.
