Nova, I am so sorry that you and Harry are going through all of this right now. The information that Ned mentioned from Dr. West is something I had heard from my oncologist as well. Fatten him up with anything he will eat and let his body rest. He will be ready for more chemo when the time comes.

Andrea, they are both beautiful. I am so happy for you and Brain as well as your parents. So glad they both were there to hold them. You better get some sleep 'cause you won't get much for a while now. This is a wonderful day.

My situation is a little different from yours as I had surgery first. I was dx IIIA. That was 4 1/2 years ago. Hope this information helps.

Welcome to our support family. As for your husband, you are much better off without him. So congratulations on two fronts. You are doing well physically and mentally.

Congratulations Mike. My oncologist counts the same way. In August I will be 4 years past treatment. You are doing great. Hope to see NED by your name for years to come.

Andrea, I remember all of those times you mentioned. You were in my prayers then and of course you are in my prayers now. I'll be thinking of you all day tomorrow. Can't wait to hear all about it.

My little shihtzu is not actually wild but I would be her if I could. She gets all of the attention in this household and eats and sleeps like a queen. If I had to be wild I would be a pig...remember that joke?

Aaron, you have made my day. Big congratulations to you. You deserve only the best. I know you are already a good lawyer, now you show them you can be a great one. I am so happy for you.

Debi,
Boy you have made some big forward steps in the last few months. Congratulations on living life to the fullest. I love the little dog and I know that you and your son will have a great time with it. Dogs are such wonderful companions.

PS hope to see that new house next year.

June 28th is a good day. My daughter was born on June 29th and I am sure she would have been just as cute on the 28th. This is a round about way of telling you I know they will be beautiful.

About all I can offer is my profile. Mine was my upper left lobe but otherwise about the same.
Best of luck.

Connie,
I'll need a reminder the day before and the day of...can't remember squat anymore...but would love to talk to all of you.

Yes, yes and Yes. I have had bronchitis over and over again since my treatments. I am told that I probably always will have it and to go to the doctor if I feel badly or cough up color. Then I usually take antibiotics and feel better in a few days. I still have regular chest x-rays but have been clear of cancer since my surgery 4 1/2 years ago.

Ann,
Welcome back. With the news that you are to be a grandmother again comes the fact that you have to be better soon since we all know you will be holding both of them a lot. Take care of yourself and so good to hear from you.

I was so glad to see your posts. As for your sister's wedding..I know the feeling of working while the others just sat there. Several things happened when I was on chemo that reminded me of that. Your wedding is yours to do as you like and it sounds wonderful to me.
The hearing sounded like it went fairly well. I have 3 lawyers in my family and I am sure you could practice with any of them anytime you wanted. Only problem is it wouldn't be the big city....only about 15K live here.
I hope you continue to do well Aaron. I think of you often and keep you in my prayers.

Geri,
I can't tell from your profile and if I knew I can't remember now...did you have radiation for your lung cancer on the side with the breast tumors? Keeping you in my prayers.

Don,
I know this is not what you expected and I am sorry but who knows...this sucker may die with very little treatment at this point. Keeping you in my prayers.

Keeping you both in my prayers.

You will be missed Geri but hang in there girl. You are doing great and I am sure your family takes "direction" very well.

I am sorry that you have to gear up to fight this all over again. There are many other meds out there...hope she finds her silver bullet soon.
