MurielK
Saw the Onc today; looked at the pictures; etc. He said I should have the surgery before we move. As these things go, he said it would be 2 - 3 mo. before it happened in Orlando. So, that's what we're going to do. I have no idea how this is going to happen - surgery, move, etc. Have to be out of our house by Dec. 9th. What a mess. Muriel K
Debi
Muriel, When is he going to do the surgery? I guess you need to follow his advice and do it now... even if you have to stay somewhere for a bit longer in Virginia. I know this really really sucks but jeesh, it could be worse, at least they can operate and you will be okay. One thing though Muriel, you need to work on your timing for crying out loud.... Ry
Well I guess on the up side you get out of all the packing and heavy lifting. I suppose it would make sense that there would be a delay in Florida. Hope it all works out somehow!
chloesmom
I'm glad you're not waiting on the surgery till you get to Orlando. That was making me really nervous. Better to stay in a hotel or something for a while after the surgery than wait 2-3 months.....I know it will be a big pain, but you've gotta get that nasty thing out of there. Good luck, Muriel. MurielK
Yes, I agree with the Onc. - sooner is better. But the dogs! What will we do with them while I recover? Muriel K
Kaffie
Wish I had an answer for the dogs..I have 3 and would have the same problem and worry about them. I do agree that waiting 2-3 months it too long when it comes to this stuff. Kathy
Marie
Just think how nice it will be to leave that nasty thing behind when you move. I don't have any answers for you but I do know that things like that do have a way of working out. Hang in there.
Nushka
I would want that "thing" out of me asap. The move is very unfortunate. I guess you will have to "let" other people do the hard work and you sit there and direct. Can the dogs go to a vet for boarding? I know it is very bad timing, but the good news is you can get this out of you NOW. That is the most important thing right now. Nina
Donna G
Do you have any neighbors of friends or church people that could help you out caring or housing the dogs til you are able to hit the road? Donna G
