Fay Posted August 5, 2005 Share Posted August 5, 2005 Peggy, Keep the faith. As a respiratory therapist I have seen patients recover from ARDS. We now have treatment protocols for this condition that we didn't have when I first started. Even if Don needs a trach, it doesn't have to be permanent.
