fitzy
Hi, I spoke about this in response to a question, but it has worked so well for Tim, that I wanted it to be it's own subject! Tim's oncologist told him that one of his patients had the Tarceva rash really bad, and even lowering the dose didn't help it. The patient came in this week, and the rash was almost non-existent. The patient told him he was using Nioxin cleanser - it's a cleanser or shampoo for thinning hair. Skeptical, but willing to try anything, Tim bought some yesterday, and started using it last night to wash his face. When he woke up this morning, he asked me how it looked, and I honestly thought it looked better and told him so, then went off to work. Well, I came home tonight, and it truly looked about 50% better!!!!!! Just wanted to let you all know - let me know if anyone has tried it or does, and if it works for you. fitzy
Hi it's Tim, It's Nioxin Cleanser #1 for thinning hair. I wet my face, put it on, leave it on for about a minute then I wash it off. It doesn't burn me when applied This Nioxin definately drys out your face, so keep using cream! The only place I have found it so far is at a Beauty supply store. Hope this helps some people - so far so good for me! Sandra
fjv35
What's the latest on the response to Nioxin of the rash. Keen to hear - this rash drives us batty.
ellakc2
I used that shampoo and conditioner while having chemo, and it's very good. It makes your hair grow back faster. ( I really didn't like the smell, though). It's amazing that it worked on your rash. Good for you!
