3boys4amy
I don't know if many of you remember me. I used to come here quite often. I have had so much going on in my own life, that I haven't had a chance to visit often lately. I found out a couple weeks ago that Dad's cancer has come back in his lymph nodes. He had his right lung removed 2 years ago this month. He went to have a CT Scan done this week to map out the radiation and they called him back to say that the nodes had grown since a few weeks ago. They had the oncologist call him. He is going in for radiation on Monday in Kentucky (Ashland) and will try to shrink it. Then he will go through chemo again. Chemo almost killed him last time. I am so worried about him. How bad of a diagnosis is this? And that they have grown that fast? Any advice or help is appreciated. I live so far away from him. I live in Florida and he is in West Virginia. I feel lost.
Ry
Amy- I am sorry to hear about your dad. John is currently on Avastin and it is pretty easy on him- you might want to ask about it for your dad.

mamasbabygirl
I remember you as well. Mom was diagnosed around the same time as your dad. Glad to see you here. I live in KY also, but the northern part. Ashland is about 4 hours or so from here. Everyone else has already chimed in the chemo options. I hope he has an easier time this go around. Prayers!! Keep us posted.

sharonjo
Hi Amy, Sorry to hear that your dad's cancer has come back. That just sucks! I am also on Avastin. I am having good results and little or no side effects. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. God Bless, Sharon
sharyn
Yes,I too remember you and your Dads picture.... So sorry that the cancer has come back... I am sure it has come as a big dissapointment. Maybe if Dad follows a different Chemo regiman this time, he will have an easier go of it. You are both in my prayers.
cindi o'h
Consider lc as a chronic illness now. There will be something in the little black bag for him. Hopefully, this next poison won't be as brutal on him. Sure do remember you. Cindi o'h
