Wendy Posted November 8, 2007 Share Posted November 8, 2007 Hi everyone, Last week I received the results of my latest PET scan - stable once again. But...... I have had growth and suv update for the last 3-4 pet scans on my thyroid. So my doc ordered an ultrasound and needle biopsy that I was to have today. Low and behold, the radiologist and ultrasound technicians couldn't find the growth so no biopsy was done. I haven't heard from my onc yet (but until I do) I am assuming since they couldn't see anything in the ultrasound, that the thyroid is not cancerous. Boy o' boy just another day in paradise?!
