Mom's CT Scan after 2 Rounds of Chemo

Just got the call from Mom and her CT scan showed a 25% reduction in her tumor! This was enough shrinkage that she will now begin radiation on 12/26 - at the start of her 3rd round of chemo. She will have 1x/day radiation for six weeks.

She was mapped today and has her "dry run" next week.

We're thrilled with this news and ready to bring out the next line of heavy artilary!

And for all who have posted re: radiation in the past - thank you! I've been reading the posts and they are very helpful.

I too remember starting this journey and when you talk about your mom's line of treatments ahead, it just brought back memories. Hang in there, this cancer crud is BEATABLE!
