Muriel
Apparently so, Bruce. I know of several people who have done so. Muriel

recce101
For patients like me, on first-line or second-line treatment or beyond, it's done routinely at 2- to 3-month intervals -- to determine if the chemo is working and should be continued, or not working and should be changed. But in a case like yours, post-surgery adjuvant chemo, even though you CAN have a CT scan while on treatment, it's perhaps a moot question depending on the length of your chemo program. Also, there wouldn't be any treatment decisions made based on tumor response, since there's no tumor to make a response! Your periodic scans would be to check for any recurrence. fillise
Mom had hers after her 4th round of chemo. They generally want to give the chemo some time to work and then check to see if they are getting a good response (or any response at all). dadstimeon
Yes I had them throughout all my chemo treatments every three months or so.
