babylove91297
Hi everybody, I went to my oncologist yesterday and he said that he wants to start radiation right away so I can't have my gallbladder removed until after I finish. He told me that my gallbladder won't kill me, but if we don't treat the cancer it can. He went over all the results with me and said that right now I am stable, I told him that I can handle that . I was thrilled when he told me that I don't have to drive all the way to Chicago 5 days a week for treatments but that I can go to a hospital just about 4 miles from home. Right now I am waiting for my doctor to call with the referal and appointment time. I started back to work Monday. I really enjoy being able to have somewhat of a normal life again, although my legs ache right now from being on my feet for so long....but I can live with that. CaroleHammett
Congratulations, Bobbie! Great news re being stable (and also getting a period of "normality" before surgery).
