diagnosis =6 months to a year

Diagnosed 3/19/2020 -basically it's fight and I have a year or give up and maybe it's six months.

I elected fight-chemotherapy coming, although I can't understand why-oh ya,kids ,getting ducks in a row, life insurance and why the hell not

Tumor on the back of my tongue,Dr say's no radiation required cause the lung cancer will kill me first.

Put a med port in my chest for chemo.Meditation ,visualization and diet change=no sugar

Wondering if anyone can give me any insight on end of life conditions ;  and or % of chance I can still out run the grim reaper for a while .

Thanks

Hi Drake.  I'm sorry to hear about your diagnosis.  Did you have biomarker testing done?  Here is "Lung Cancer 101" with just a ton of information for you. https://lungevity.org/for-patients-caregivers/lung-cancer-101

I also would encourage you to reach out to the Lung Cancer HELPLine.  It is a free service staffed by oncology social workers that can help you with resources to navigate your diagnosis.  https://lungevity.org/for-patients-caregivers/support-services/lung-cancer-helpline

We are here for you, please let us know anyway we can help.
