    Woulda Been

    ((((((((((Randy)))))))))))
  2. ((((((((((((Grace)))))))))))) I am so very sorry that you have all of these things to worry about at this time. I wish I was there to help you in some small way. Please don't drive yourself crazy second guessing your decisions regarding Carlton's care. I know that you're doing, and have done, everything possible to help him. Just know that we are all thinking of you and saying lots of prayers for you, Carlton and those lovely girls.
  3. When taking a shower do you turn on the water before getting in or do you turn on the water while already in the shower?
  4. A few of my favorite...... same difference a little pregnant awfully good original copy
  5. Let's share some of our favorite oxymorons...
  6. Anyone want to play a game? Just thought it might help us get to know eachother a little better, and have fun at the same time! For this game, you list three things about yourself (anything at all) and the next person to post chooses one thing from your list that is common with them and then posts that in their answer and adds two more. I'll begin. 1. I have 3 children. 2. I love to cook. 3. I love music.

    Prayers, please

    Saying prayers for Catherine.
  8. I would have to say Frank Sinatra. I've seen Harry Connick and that has to be the very next best thing to seeing Sinatra. Gotta love that "crooning" voice.
  9. If you could see anyone/group in concert, from any time period, who would it would be?
  10. I have been thinking of Grace, Carlton and the girls all day. Just wondering if anyone has heard from them today?
  11. (((((((Val)))))))) Please know that you aren't the only one that has a tough time with cards. Dennis used to spend such a long time, looking at all of the cards, until he found just the right one. I think that's partially because he wanted the card to say just what he was thinking so he wouldn't have to write a lot inside. Now, everytime I get a card, I think of Dennis and wonder how much time and effort the sender of the card put into the selection. As Kasey said, there will be a time when things are better....for all of us.

    Financial Question

Rochelle, I'm so sorry you have something else to worry about now. If I were you, I would definitely listen to Katie's advise, as she knows her stuff when it comes to legal issues. Make sure you have all the legal information correct...that sometimes requires an attorney. But, most attorneys will offer a free consultation. Maybe a paralegal could even research this for you. I don't think it would be out of line to ask for a copy of the insurance policy and then, contact the company yourself. Like others, I don't know why this "friend" is sending out personal checks rather that the insurance company. Hoping everything goes smoothly.

    Prayer Request

My boss' 83 year old dad found out about a month ago that he had lung cancer. 2 lobes of the right lung were removed last Wednesday. He has seemed to be doing fairly good until last night when he took a severe turn for the worst. His left lung is filled with fluid and he is now in surgery to have it drained. Please say prayers for this wonderful gentlemen.
  15. Wal-Mart has everything! One day, in line at the company cafeteria, Joe says to Mike behind him, "My elbow hurts like hell. I guess I'd better see a doctor." "Listen, you don't have to spend that kind of money," Mike replies. "There's a diagnostic computer down at Wal-Mart. Just give it a urine sample and the computer will tell you what's wrong and what to do about it. It takes ten seconds and costs ten dollars . . . A lot cheaper than a doctor." So, Joe deposits a urine sample in a small jar and takes it to Wal-Mart. He deposits ten dollars, and the computer lights up and asks for the Urine sample. He pours the sample into the slot and waits. Ten seconds later, the computer ejects a printout: "You have tennis elbow. Soak your arm in warm water and avoid heavy activity. It will improve in two weeks. Thank you for shopping @ Wal-Mart." That evening, while thinking how amazing this new technology was, Joe began wondering if the computer could be fooled. He mixed some tap water, a stool sample from his dog, urine samples from his wife and daughter, and a sperm sample for good measure. Joe hurries back to Wal-Mart, eager to check the results. He deposits ten dollars, pours in his concoction, and awaits the results. The computer prints the following: 1. Your tap water is too hard. Get a water softener.(Aisle 9) 2. Your dog has ringworm. Bathe him with anti-fungal shampoo. (Aisle 7) 3. Your daughter has a cocaine habit. Get her into rehab. 4. Your wife is pregnant. Twins. They aren't yours. Get a lawyer. 5 If you don't stop playing with yourself, your elbow will never get better! Thank you for shopping @ Wal-Mart
  16. Peggy...Ya think you can send me a little snow down here in Florida? We keep getting the cool temps from all of the storms you guys are having. It's cold one day here and then in the high 70's the next day. That's the reason we had all the terrible tornadoes. It's supposed to be 73 today but this weekend the high temps are supposed to be in the very low 60's. I would love to come to see you and have a cookout. Can you imagine what your neighbors would say????
  17. Gerber Daisies are also my favorite. They're just so bright and colorful. You'll probably laugh at my favorite candy. I am totally hooked on the Hershey's chocolate covered cherry kisses. They're so yummy!!!
  18. Happy Valentine's Day to all my friends here at the MB. Since today is a day that we associate with flowers and candy, the question is simple. What is your favorite flower and candy???

    You're Beautiful

Think that it's fun, that you're guided, and all is well. That there's time, that life is easy, and that the best is yet to come. Think that the reasons that elude you will one day catch up, that the lessons that have stumped you will one day bring joy, and the sorrows that have crippled you will soon give you wings. Think that you're important, that you cannot fail, and that happiness always returns. And think that you're beautiful. I do. The Universe
