  1. http://www.thebody.com/content/art6423.html These recipes were especially chosen to help solve the problems discussed here. To be included, the recipes also had to be high in nutritional value, easy to make, good tasting, and usable for the family as well as for the patient. You will find some old favorites -- but calories, protein, or other nutrients have been added. All of the recipes have been taste-tested, and only the favorites from the taste-testing have been included. At the bottom of each recipe is a chart that gives information about the recipe's protein and calorie content as well as its suitability for the special requirements of cancer patients. 2. Peach Frozen Yogurt Posted by Melodie Barefield, Communications Associate on August 23rd, 2012 | No Comments » Peach Frozen Yogurt Yield: 4 servings, 3/4 cup each Servings: 4 Prep Time: 10 minutes Total Time: 10 minutes Recipe Description: We like to use chopped frozen peaches, but you can use frozen berries or whatever frozen fruit you have on hand in this ultra-quick frozen yogurt that is made without an ice cream maker. Recipe Ingredients: 3 1/2 cups coarsely chopped frozen peaches (about 16 ounces) 1/2 cup sugar, preferably superfine (see Note) 1/2 cup nonfat plain yogurt 1 tablespoon lemon juice Recipe Steps: Combine peaches and sugar in a food processor; pulse until coarsely chopped. Combine yogurt and lemon juice in a measuring cup; with the machine on, gradually pour the mixture through the feed tube. Process until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides once or twice. Serve immediately. Recipe Tips & Notes: Note: Superfine sugar dissolves instantly, preventing a grainy texture in cold desserts and beverages. It is available in the baking section of most supermarkets, but if you can’t find it, simply process regular granulated sugar in a food processor or a clean coffee grinder until ground very fine. 9. this might give you some starting points for research. We need more people who are eligible for trials to find new treatments. sadly the diagnosis is received too late for most trials. I kind of hope Dad will try it and be a pioneer in Cancer research and not think of himself as a guinea pig in a trial.. here is link to get started on what he is getting into hopefully! http://clinicaltrial.gov/ct2/results?term=LCCC0921 he could probably go back to conventional treatments if trial does not work for him I think and hope of course!!

  11. you have to do what you have to do... If you feel time is of the essence, go for it and live life anyhow... If you want to take a break for a while you have that right also. It is your decision to make. My thought if I was in the scenario would be goo with Treatment and live life like I would want to at the same time!

  22. Carpe Diem.... seize the day. You might get one tomorrow maybe not. Same thing in my life. I might get another day tomorrow might not get one! we never know until tomorrow becomes today and we hope and pray at the end of this day for another day tomorrow.. Remember every day there is a doctor somewhere fighting to find a cure in some way and we can hope he succeeds or a Doctor succeeds somewhere along the way. When Deb was diagnosed, She told her Onc just treat me and take care of me. I will keep fighting as long as I can. I don't care what stage I am. I don't care ow long I have. I have more and better things to do with my life than worry about my cancer!! She took Art Classes at stage 3 and 4 . She painted our house after starting treatment. we went on vacations when we could in state and out of state. She did what she wanted to do Cancer Be Dammed.. I am ever so proud of her for that. she had her car and I had my truck and we did what we wanted and what we could when we could. IF she felt well l enough to tote her school supplies up the hill she parked away from handicapped spots and walked. when She did not feel good she whipped out her sticker and used it. She really did not care about her cancer or what it was doing to her..
