Wanted to share my good news. Had Chest and Abd. Ct and all looks good. Next scan scheduled for Aug. 10. Barb

So far so good. Been having some strange headaches, so Doc. said if not better in 2 weeks he will do Brain MRI. Very happy about CT results!! Next scans on Aug 10, 05 Barb

Thank You Doug, So sorry you had a judgemental PM. I quit smoking Aug. 5,04, the day of my lobectomy, There isn't a day that goes by that I don't DIE for a cig. I have continued to remain a non smoker while I'm at stage 3A, but if I my stage should change due to mets. Who knows. I just may become a smoker again. I do not judge people that continue to smoke, and I would not want to be judged if I started again. It is our choice. Thanks again for bringing this subject out in the open. Barb

In Aug. of 2003 when I had surgery for my melanoma, I had a chest Xray and my right lung was clear. In June of 2004 (less than 1 yr later), I had a tumor that was 6 cm. That always bothered me that a tumor could bet that big that fast. Love you all, Barb

I did have my surgery at Moffitt. I had Dr Lary Robison. They sent them to the lab, and checked them during surgery, so I knew as soon as I woke up. My doc removed 12 nodes and only one was cancer. I am praying. I think of you often. Barb
