I guess you were kind of busy with a little Craniotomy on the side and you were concerned about needle biopsy😀 .I have no idea about my specific markers bit late to find out now as i go for #22 on Wednesday this week and finish Durvalumab on August-14 then scan late August now the proof of the pudding is it working will come clear in the next six months. Did they say what type of chemo/immuno you will receive. ? There is always some type of setback in persons cancer treatment and as long as your getting treatment you will handle it.

Spot on! I use a large 3 ring binder to keep everything together and take it with me when I go to the Dr for checkups. I also ask for a printed copy of reports and get the CD/DVD of the scans or other electronic data collected. The disks have come in very handy when I see someone like my pulmonologist so he can see them without having to search during my appointment.

Yes Imfinzi sent me all the material for record keeping and a 800 number if rquired for any concerns. while on this drug. I found with getting my bi-weekly blood work sent to me online. That is what the doctors look at prior to ordering your next infusion excellent information to stay on top of

That makes sense. I was on infusion #8 and had to go to ER had been coughing all night and the young doctor was going to give me Predisone and i told her i was on Durvalumab and she called the on call oncologist and he ordered a ct, and sure enough inflammation surrounding my tumor that is how the drug works and he said no Predisone and i was sent home

Lucky I am. Most of the time I can go with the flow, other times I just want to give up when I’m stuck in the same place and not moving forward. Nerve wracking to wonder what’s going on inside your body when there’s a setback. Guess I’ll find out at the Oncologist office Thursday. Enjoy the weekend 😎
The oncoligist might wonder why you got predisone knowing you were going to get Durvalumab. But if only small dose you will be good to go.

Just at the pulmonologist, putting me on prednisone for the inflammation which he is calling radiation pneumonitis. Can you be on prednisone and take the Durvalumab? Thanks to you knowledgeable gents.
Yes but depends on the dosage, The doctor will advise you prior to your infusion? as Durvalumab does cause inflamation i can assure you of that i ended up in ER last December and nearly got Predisone but they decided to hold off.

This is from earlier post this year
Durvalumab (Imfinzi) also targets the PD-L1 protein. This drug is used a little differently than the other immunotherapy drugs. It is used in people with certain types of NSCLC whose cancer has not gotten worse after they have already received chemotherapy along with radiation (chemoradiation). The goal of treatment with this drug is to keep the cancer from getting worse for as long as possible.
IMO If you stop progression that is one battle won

Intresting article and comment
One concern is that patients with less than 1% PD-L1 expression may not derive the same benefit with consolidation durvalumab."

Sorry to hear of your recent results from the MRI and if they sending you for sterostatic radiation next week for the lesion they must have had good indication from the ct and MRI to proceed in that direction.
My next scan is due April-30 with follow up the following week with the doctor for results.I am similar to you and staying positive .
