Some things that helped my hubby through it: Prayer--serenity prayer is awesome Faith---"If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, 'Be uprooted and planted in the sea' and it will obey you." Luke 17:6 Wisdom--Learn every thing you can about the disease Support -- lchelp is a great start, talk to other family memebers affected, caregivers LIVE ONE DAY AT A TIME---Remember, "Yesterday was the past, tomorrow is the the future and today is a gift, that's why it is called the present." Networking--get the whole family involved in the support and healing. (including friends, church,acquaintenances that want to help). Surround yourself and your boyfriend with positive emotions---mediatation, calming music, reading the Bible. Remember that life is not over with a diagnosis, a new life is just beginning.
