    I have got awesome news.

    I played my first gig since I finished treatment in April 2004 on baritone saxophone.

    4 hours long with a big band (Valentines party). It was wonderful. I wasn't out of breath or anything. Just really excited. Just wanted to share the news. There is light at the end of the tunnel.

    Hey everyone!!!

    Update on event.

    This Friday is the deadline for and advertisements on the website or program including honorariums or memorials.

    If you still want to make a contribution, pleas do so at www.lungevity.org/playingforacure or mail directly to the school.

    Schools participating are:

    Colonial Beginning Band (band and soloists)

    Colonial Middle Band (band and soloists)

    White Station Middle Band (band only)

    Appling Middle (band only)

    Elmore Park Middle (band only)

    Overton High (band and soloists)

    Dyersburg Middle (band only)

    Ridgeway Middle (band only)

    Dyer County High (band only)

    Shadowlawn Middle (band only)

    Marion Middle (soloists only)

    Grenada Middle (soloists only)

    Wooddale High (band only)

    Wooddale Middle (band and soloists)

    We also have 50 soloists that have applied.

    I am so excited!!!!!
