    Hey April,

    One thing to remember is that there is no cancer in existance that hasn't been cured at some point in time no matter how advanced or the stage. (Richard Bloch Foundation) Statistics don't count and God only knows when our time is up. Life is not over with a cancer diagnosis---a new life is just beginning. We have to keep on, keeping on!!

    Hey Everyone,

    If it's Gatlinburg and you need rooms ---I can help. My hubby and I bought a timeshare last year when I was really sick in hopes of doing some traveling. We can invite people to stay but the notsogood news is that you would have to be present at a 90 minute meeting about timeshares. With the trip, (if I am not mistaken) you get three days and two nights in Gatlinburg at a nice hotel. I don't think there are other charges (maybe $50.00)and I do know they will give you some extra perks for coming. I can also make arrangements for Branson, MO. We just got back from there and loved it. Alot like Gatlinburg and more centrally located. Let me know if this is of interest and I will start checking into it.

    Can we all come to an agreement to meet somewhere this summer? I would love to spend a weekend with my life-support and get to meet you!!!! I still regret never meeting Leslie and many others. Life is so short!!!Is this a possibility or just wishful thinking? I will be there wherever it may be.. Maybe Katie could come up with something!!

    We wanted to thank you again for the story you wrote to our site. I have worked in health care for a very long time and still was flooded with feelings from your sharing. I know the founder wrote you and her feelings were touched too. I am hoping our "Voices of lung cancer" book makes a profit so we can donate to research and helping survivors. I met with the CEO Susan Mantel of joan's Legacy and they are a great organization and their fundraising efforts are wonderful. It is late but I just had to write to you. i hope we will be able to help each other. I will read more about what things you are invovled in so we can help.

    Thanks again for your heartfelt story, it means so much that people begin to understand.

    Hey Connie,

    I am on top of it!!! I e-mailed about 10 different media outlets today. I also interviewed with ABC yesterday and basically talked about hope and love for one another and the urgent need for more research. I talked about the negative stigma, awareness and many other things but they really didn't show that. But, it's a start!!!!

    Connie is so right---if we all join together--we can make a difference!!!
